Hey, I’m chelsea
—brand photographer, visual collaborator, and lover of light, atmosphere, and small businesses that do things differently. I help people show up confidently online through honest, film-inspired photography that feels like you.
I’ve been holding a camera for over a decade—first capturing weddings, where I learned to chase light, anticipate moments, and photograph real life as it unfolds.
Today, I use that same documentary approach to help brands, creatives, and small businesses show up in a way that feels natural, compelling, and genuinely them. Whether you’re running a cozy coffee shop, launching a product, or planning a full rebrand, I’m here to create imagery that does more than look good—it makes people feel something.
I’m not here to play it safe, and chances are, you aren’t either.
what it’s like to work with me
My sessions are relaxed, collaborative, and built around real connection. I don’t show up with a shot list pulled from Pinterest—I show up with curiosity, creativity, and a camera (okay, usually a few cameras).
I work primarily with natural light, chasing moments that feel honest, layered, and emotionally true. Every image is approached like a scene from a film: candid, textured, and deeply rooted in who you are—not just what you sell.
If you’ve ever said “I’m so awkward in front of a camera,” trust me—this is your place.
some of the stuff you’ll find on my personal instagram account eventually
I live in my tiny hometown in Washington, where I somehow became a thirty-something beer-loving, playlist-making, road-tripping stepmom with a camera. These days it’s me, Rick, and the girls—and most people who know me have probably received a voice message or two or two hundred.
I love to cook. I prefer a cozy home over a fancy resort. I went to college to be a writer, and for a while, I knew as much French as a 10-year-old Parisian. Once, I drove to Southern California with a group of photographers I’d never met in person. I take photos of everything and I’m finally learning how to be in them, too.
I’m endlessly curious, creatively restless, and always chasing that feeling that happens when a photo just clicks. The real stuff. The good light. The little moments with big energy. That’s what I’m after.
