What Goes Into a Branding Shoot (Besides Coffee, cocktails, and Chaos)

Ever wonder what actually happens before, during, and after a branding session? It’s not just about showing up and smiling at the camera (although we’ll do that too). It’s a full experience built to make you feel prepped, confident, and totally in your element.

So here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at what working with me really looks like—from first inquiry to gallery delivery.

The Prep: Where the Magic Starts

Before we even pick up a camera, we dive into your brand. I’ll send over a quick questionnaire to get to know your business, your audience, and how you want to show up online. Think of it as a vibe check—but with strategy behind it.

Then comes the fun part:
We build a personalized shot list, choose a location (or two), and plan outfits, props, and even snacks if you want 'em. You’ll know exactly what to expect so you can show up relaxed and ready to go.

Shoot Day: Where the Chaos Gets Fun

This is where we make the magic happen. Whether we’re capturing you mixing cocktails at your bar, wrapping bouquets at your flower shop, or cozying up in your favorite coffee spot, my goal is to make it feel natural.

There’s movement, music, maybe a little bit of awkward laughing, and a lot of "Oh my god that one’s SO GOOD!" from me behind the camera.

You don’t need to be a model. You just need to show up as yourself. I’ll guide you the entire way and we’ll get a mix of photos:

  • Behind-the-scenes moments

  • Details and textures

  • Personality-filled headshots

  • Lifestyle vibes you can use anywhere

Post-Shoot: Sneak Peeks + The Full Gallery

You’ll get a handful of sneak peeks the same day (because I know you’re dying to see them). Then within one week, your full gallery will be ready with at least 30 edited images—ready to drop into your content calendar, website, newsletter, or wherever you show up online.

And now, I also include short video clips—perfect for Reels, TikToks, or just adding movement to your homepage.

Why This Matters

Brand photos aren’t just for the ‘gram. They help build trust, show your personality, and give you a visual library you can pull from whenever you need to show up with confidence.

It’s about showing who you are—and making sure your audience feels connected to you long before they hit “buy.”
